How do I sign up for a wholesale account?Louisiana Wholesale Florists Inc. sells wholesale only. If you are a new customer and want to receive the best possible discounts, then you will need to purchase a minimum of 10 shares of stock in Louisiana Wholesale Florists, Inc. thereby making you a Stockholder in the cooperative. Also, you must operate a licensed retail florist business at least 300 days a year. Such business would include all facilities customarily associated with a full service retail florist, including but not limited to, storage and display refrigerators for maintenance of fresh cut flowers, a “store front” for display to retail customers, a store sign, a sales tax identification number, and you must be buying for resale. A Stockholder Application must be completed and signed, then submitted for approval by the General Manager.

Exceptions to Membership PolicyThe sale of fresh cut flowers, greens and/or supplies to educational and training facilities (i.e., ULL, Northeast University, L.S.U., Schools of Floristry, Florists Associations and Industry Associates). Allow for sales of potted plants, nursery stock, and floral supplies (i.e., foil, speed covers and liners, etc.) to nurseries and greenhouses. These items must be bought for resale. Allow for sales of all non-perishable items to be sold to retail businesses who operate a retail business at least 5 days a week. Such business must include all facilities customarily associated with a full service retail business, including a “store front” operation, a store sign, a sales tax identification number and must be buying for resale. All businesses are required to submit written applications, on a company provided form. For approval by management only. Only owners and designated employees of approved applications will be allowed to make purchases.

Stockholder Vs Non-Stockholder PricingStockholders receive 50% off all supplies, and non-stockholders receive 40% off all supplies. If you would like prices on fresh flowers, please call your sales rep for the most current availability and pricing.

Customer PurchasesIn order to become a Customer of Louisiana Wholesale Florists, you must operate a licensed retail florist business at least 300 days a year. A Customer Credit Application must be filled out, signed and submitted to the General Manager for approval prior to any purchases.

In-Store Pick upIn-store pickup is available during regular business hours. Monday-Friday: 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Saturday: 8 a.m.-11:00 a.m.

PaymentsWe accept cash, checks, money orders, and the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and Debit cards. Credit cards will be accepted as payment at the point of sale, as an alternative to charging to your Louisiana Wholesale Florists, Inc. credit account, however, credit cards will NOT be accepted as payment on account. If you use a credit card to pay on your account, an additional convenience fee of 2% will be added to your payment. Any check returned by the bank due to insufficient funds, will be assessed an additional $20.00 per check charge, or 5% of the face amount of the check, whichever is greater.

DeliveriesDeliveries are made daily; see our delivery route schedule for delivery days in your area. If you do not see your city listed, please contact your sales representative for more information.

FeesDelivery fees during store hours are as follows $5.00 for stockholder members, $10.00 for non-stockholder members. Should you need merchandise after hours, there is an after hour charge of $25.00. We also have special deliveries available on as needed basis, depending on trucks and driver availability. There may also be an additional charge for overtime if dictated. This $25.00 charge is for special deliveries other than regularly scheduled deliveries.

ReturnsYou may return unused and unopened products within 10 days of purchase, after 10 days there will be a 15% restocking fee. If the item is fresh flowers, please contact your salesperson for credit. All sales items are final. Holiday merchandise cannot be returned after the holiday.
